Vision

I see God doing a movement in my life that will affect many lives. This going to go with the Revival Ministry that He wants me to start next year.

There are way too many women and teenagers that are having babies and giving them away or aborting or have no idea how to take care of them. So here is the plan.

1. Teenage women who have no where to turn. They have been left alone by the dad of the baby or parents that have turned their backs on them. They alot of times quit school so they end up with no education. Help them by giving somewhere to live, help with education at least GED, food, help with taking care of the baby. Eventually help them get a job and be self sufficient.

2. Women in abuse relationships. Protection away from the abuser. Help with counseling, education, job placement, housing.

I see this all taking place in Montana. I feel this should be a nation wide ministry. Women in abuse relationships need to be away from the abuser. If they stay in the same area they are always in danger of running into the abuser again.

I will be looking for counselors, teachers etc. Contacting churches, businesses, schools for assistance. This would not be associated with any government funding. We would be getting our direction from God not government.

Sell Out

Are you a sell out? Well I have to say that I am and I mean that in a great way. I have sold out to my wife and kids and Yeshua. I always place my wifes needs and wants before my own. My kids come before myself. As most of you know by now tomorrow is our 20th wedding anniversary. We could not of done that without selling out to each other.

As I look around at the world today and all the problems. I see sell outs but in the wrong way. Imagine if everyone put others before themselves. Divorce would be way down, child abuse would be gone etc.

The ultimate sell out is Yeshua. He gave His life for you and me. He layed down on the cross and allowed a stake to be driven into His hands and feet. He allowed the Romans to beat Him with a whip that tore into His flesh and ripped it away. He sold His life for your life. The people wanted Him to be their earthly King. He refused and left them to be a Savior. How many people would turn down royalty to become a sacrifice? He did He was a sell out for you.

Are you a sell out?

Thought

Take every thought captive. If you were to do this or submit every thought to God or Christ since He has all authority in Heaven and Earth what a change.

Temptation gone, wrong direction gone, divorce gone, murder gone, rape gone, stealing gone the world will change.

Start now give your thoughts to God or your life if you have not done this yet. I know you are thinking my life. I am an adult I can do what I want when I want. You are right you can but where does that get you? Marriage gone you are more consumed with yourself then your spouse. Been there done that. I used to allow my thoughts direct me. I now allow Gods thoughts to direct my life. Kim and I will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2 days. We give Him all the credit we both care more for each other than we do for ourselves.

Try it see how your life and relationships change. It is not about a religion it is about a relationship. You spend time with Him and He will share His thoughts with you. He will give you the perfect guidance. He will give you the perfect plan for your life. It will change everything in your life.

You can do it right now. He makes it very simple. Tell Him that you are sorry for the way you have lived your life and that you need Him. Tell Him that you accept Yeshua (Jesus) as your Lord and Savior and you give Him your life.

Meant

A couple months ago I was talking thru email with a out of town friend. We were discussing our beliefs. While our belief in God falls in line on most points there are a couple we do not see eye to eye on. We both agreed that we liked to have a discussion and would not take any comments as a personal attack. The main point was in the last chapter in Mark. Yeshua listed several things that His believers would do. One of the was talking in tongue or new languages depending on the translation. She believed that since she does not talk in tongue that it was not an important part of being saved. I simply pointed out using the translation that she uses what Yeshua said. I never said that she was not saved only what the Word of God said. She did not take what I said she read into it and decided what I meant instead. She went on and said that she felt offended and did not want to talk to me any more and we have not talked since.

Say what you mean do not mean what you say. Gods word always says what He means. We do not have to try to figure out if He means something else.

My friend did not like what His word said so she simply disregarded it. How many people do you talk to that just likes this part so they go with it and want to ignore the parts they do not like. You have to God in the whole. He does not accept just part of us and we cannot just take part of Him. His word even says if a part of you keeps on sinning that it is better for that part to be cut off and thrown into a fire instead of you buring in hell.

Imagine if everyone said exactly what they meant instead of beating around the bush. We would not have to try to figure out what they mean.

Ask

2 1/2 years ago our son Elijah was born and then died 2 hours later. We were told by doctors that this was going to happen. We thought we were prepared. We were wrong. We were surrounded by family and friends which we consider family. We held Elijah and told him how much we loved him. This thru me into a tale spin for the better part of 1 1/2 years. I went thru the motions until I finally gave it all to God. He has our life in His hands and knows what He is doing and I trust that even when I do not understand He still Loves me and does what is best.

We unfortunately had family that never even acknowledged that anything happened. We had a friend that asked another what he could do for us. The response was simple call Shawn and talk to him. What he did instead was send a card. Why ask if you are not going to follow the directions?

How many times I have heard someone ask God for direction and then disregard because that was outside of their comfort zone. God only asks us to leave our commfort zone until we are like Yeshua. So where are you? Are you like Yeshua? He looked for direction from the Father continuously. He prayed early every morning seeking the wisdom of the Father. Yeshua realized early that He had to be about our Fathers business. Luke 2:49 Did you not know that I must be about My Fathers business. He was only 12 and stayed behind in the Temple to study with the leaders.

It is true that if we ask He will answer, if we seek we will find Him, and if we knock He will open the door. If you ask and seek are you ready to walk thru the door that He opens? pray 1 Peter 4:2 That you won't spend the rest of your life chasing after evil desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God.

Change

I was thinking tonight about the way "church" service changes people. Do you see the average person leaving a service excited about an experience with God? I am only talking about the average person. There is always people on both extremes.

If you received a phone call that the President wanted to talk to you how would you react? Even if it was Obama. You would be excited, you would be thinking about what to ask him, how you should dress, you would get a good nights rest, etc. You would leave the meeting changed, you would probably change the way you thought of him.

My daughter Xantiana has been taking Tae Kwon Do classes for almost 9 years and just received her 3rd degree black belt. She has a master instructor that she respects alot. Whenever he tells her that he needs to talk to her she gets all nervous. She does not know what to expect. A couple times he had to talk to her because she did something she should not of done. Most of the time it is to tell her something really good like he thinks she is ready for the next level of testing. She always walks away changed. Always for the better. She has learned to allow the master in Tae Kwon Do to change her because he knows more than her.

We all have a Master that loves us the way we are but wants to change us to be like Yeshua (Christ). I remember reading in John that Yeshua went up a mountain and met Moses and Elijah. A cloud bright as light came over them. God changed Yeshuas face to be bright like a light. God changed the way Yeshua looked Yeshua let Him make the change. Then God said this was His Son that He was pleased with and we should listen to Him.

So do you allow Him to change you? Do you come to worship our Master prepared to be changed? How do you prepare? Good nights sleep, pray before hand, read His word. Are you changed or do you just show up and leave the same as you came in? Show up early watch everyone go in and watch the during the service and then watch them leave. If you are not changed by Him did you really experience Him?

Time

Today Xavier climbed a ladder to get on the roof to be with me. How many of us go this far to be with our Father (God)? When I get home from work Xavier comes running and I get a big hug. For the first year Kim or I would hold him until he fell asleep and then we held him until we went to bed. Xavier wants to be with us and we want to be with him always 24/7. How many people that claim to be christians have this same desire for God? Do we wake up wanting Him? Do we spend our day with Him? Do we go to sleep wanting Him?

He is the vine and we are the branches. Where does the vine stop and the branch start? It is impossible to say. They are one and joined together. The branch cannot survive without the vine. The branch gets everything it needs from the vine.

Xavier cannot go long without me before he gets upset and misses me. How long do you go with out talking and spending time with God? We should pray continously never stopping. We work with God not for Him. We are in Him and He is in us. When do you let Him guide your day and life? When was the last time you heard His voice or felt His presence? His voice is so reassuring, comforting, positive.

Father I Love You!! Thank you for this incredible life and the adventure you started in me. Please continue the guidance and leading me into the future and making me the man you want me to be.

Love

John 17:23 I in them and You in Me, all being perfected into one. Then the world will know that You sent Me and will understand that You love them as much as You love Me.

Now that is powerful. Realize that Christ is in you and you are being perfected and that God loves you as much as He loves Christ.

In Matthew Chapter 13 The word tells the story about the farmer scattering seed. We are given 4 examples of what happens to the seed.

1. The seed is eaten by the birds before it can take root. The people hear the Good news but do not understand it.

2. The seed sprang up quickly but died without nourishment. The people received the message but as soon as problems happen they turn away. No maturity.

3. The seed that fell among the thorns. The people hear and accept the Good News but quickly turn away for the cares of life and wealth.

4. The seed that fell in fertile soil and produced a crop. The people that truly accept God's message and produce a huge harvest.

It is the same farmer and the same seed the only difference is the people hearing the messge. Do we truly listen or do we simply go thru the motions? In order to truly hear Him we need to be quiet and listen and do as instructed. We must experience this firsthand. Listening to a pastor, minister, preacher, priest or whatever title they have is fine but cannot take the place of hearing our God speaking directly to us.

If the example of the seed was a statistic it would mean 3 out 4 people do not hear God. That would explain the condition of the world today. How long would you be at your job if you only did 25% of what your boss told you? How long would you be married if you loved your spouse only 25% of the time?

Let Him who has ears hear. He spoke these words several times for a reason. We must listen to Him and really hear Him. He wants a relationship with us. He told us that He loves us. What more could we possibly need in life.

He is the way the Truth and the Life no one comes to the Father except thru Him.

Command

We are called or commanded to be like Christ. As I look at this and pray about it a few things come to mind.

1. Christ said that He did what He saw God the Father do.
2. He did what the Father told Him to do.
3. He spoke boldly about the Kingdom of God.
4. He loved unconditionally.
5. Helped anyone that asked.

In Mark Chapter 16 Christ tells us what we are to do. These are the last words He spoke before returning Heaven and sitting at the right hand of God.

Go into the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe. They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them.

As I look at His final words and it is a command I see the Good News as a couple things.

1. The Good News is about the Kingdom of God that is what Christ preached, but it also has to include Christ and His sacrafice for all of us.

2. You must believe in Him and His word and be baptized.

3. You will be used by God to help others and He will protect you.

A friend just got back from Rwanda. She was on a mission trip. We all know someone that has gone on a trip to other countries to help and spread His word. Why are we so hesitant to do it right here in our own backyard? How many people do we come in contact everyday and we do not say a word? Imagine just for a moment if everyone that claims to be a believer spoke as boldly as Christ did. How long would it take before the world knew His name and Gods Kingdom?

John 13

John chapter 13 Christ kneels down and washes the feet of all the disciples including Judas. Christ knew Judas was getting ready to betray Him and yet He made Himself the lowest of servants. Christ told them that they do not understand why He was doing this but they would soon.

How do you think the disciples felt the nexy day after His arrest? They scattered when He was taken. They walked with Him daily for 3 years. They knew Him as well as anyone could. They knew He was the Master, Savior, Christ. They felt shame, they hung their heads. So what did they see? The feet that Christ had just washed to show they are forgiven.

He washed the feet of the man who would betray Him and the man that was going to be indwelled by satan. Amazing He forgave the ulitimate betrayer. He forgave before the sin occured. He allowed Himself to be tortured and gave His bood to forgive our sin before we even were born or committed a sin.

We are called to be like Christ. So do we forgive before we are wronged? Do we forgive after we are wronged? He is innocent and He forgave first. We are sometimes the innocent one so just like Him we should step out and forgive the guilty first. We can spiritually wash the feet of the ones that hurt us ex husband, wife, sibling, parent, spouse, child, friend, co worker, employer, employee the list goes on and on. Be like Christ and forgive and forget.
