I was thinking about Gods love for us and you might not realize it but His love never ends. There never is a time when He does not love you. It does not matter what you have done or what you will do He still loves you.
I also realized that we are to love each other the same way. It does not matter if we can trace our blood line to the same parents, grandparents or all the way back to Noah we are still connected and I love you. There nothing you can do that would make God stop loving you so the same is with me.
For you that do not know I have son that turned 20 today. We have only talked 4 or 5 times in the last couple years. He lives with his mom and wants to do things his way. I said ok so he only calls when he wants something. I give him what he wants then I will not hear from him for 6 months or so. I still love him. I might not agree with him on the stuff he does but I still love him.
This is the way God loves us. No matter our actions He loves us and wants to be with us. All we have to do is walk thru the door that He opened. It is an endless love. He will never hurt or abandon you. No matter your circumstance He will be there for you. He will always want what is best for you. He will always love you.

Imagine
Imagine for a moment you had a child that cleaned his room without being told to multiple times. Imagine that same child doing the dinner dishes, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the bathroom, doing homework, cutting the grass, being nice to siblings. He does all this without being asked to do so. Your neighbors and friends and family would be jealous of you having such a wonderful child. Along with all these things being done your child never talks to you, never asks your advice on how to handle a problem, never asks for your help with homework. You say something and they completely ignore you. Never even shows that you are alive. Do you and this child have a good relationship? Only thing people see is that this is a wonderful child for all the stuff they do. They never see the child ignoring you.
This is how God sees us when we do not seek Him out. I know you are an adult you can do what you want when you want to do it. You are right and you are that child and you are a child of God. It does not matter if you are 90 or 9 you are still a child of His and He wants a relationship with you. So are you going to stubbornly go about your life which is incredibly short your own way and ignoring the Father or are you going to finally say that you need Him?

Hurt
I have at times more than I can remember stopped my kids from doing something that will hurt them. I have on a few occassions allowed them to do that samething and get hurt so that they will learn one of two things.
1. Would be to listen to me.
2 How to do something without getting hurt.
I know our Father does this samething. He wants us to come to Him seek out His guidance. If we go at it alone sometimes He will intervene sometimes He won't. He is in control He wants what is best for us even when we do not. Take a good look at your life. Do you always do what is best for you? I bet the answer is no. If it was yes we would not be overweight, out of shape. We do what we want to do for selfish reasons. God does what He does for our own good. Sometimes we see this as punishment or an unloving God. Which is the farthest from the Truth. He loves us more than we realize. You might think you have it rough, it could be alot worse.
Take the time right now and seek out His guidance. He is ready to help you. All you have to do is ask.
